A man of Honor

I was on line looking at baby furniture when I came upon Mr Lejbzon website.
I found myself reading the history, touring their great craftsmanship of furniture. I highly respect those in Europe during WWII, I learned apart of what human behavior can do to each and one of us. Past and Present.
I would like to add this to my blog and share the great work Olek Lejbzon and Co. have to offer too many.

There's no one that would complain about getting a basket full of their favorite foods, and with so many varieties of food gift baskets out there, there's something to satisfy the whole family. Food gift baskets even come in fun themes, like a team-themed cooler packed with tailgating favorites, or a birthday bucket overflowing with junk food. When it comes to gift baskets, there's something for everyone. Look for health food gift baskets for your health-conscious friends, or a gourmet food basket for those with refined tastes. You can even find gift baskets filled with coffee and tea for those who love their caffeine buzz.

The Outdoors

If you ever come to Utah there are many places to visit.  If you’re an outdoors person you will be amaze of the beautiful nature and scenery there is up and down the Wasatch Mountains, further south you will find Zion’s Nat’l Park. Canyon Country is a wonderful website for great information on back packing and camping. I found their site when looking for back packing ideas.

I enjoy being outdoors, riding horses, fishing, camping relaxing I can go on and on with the many things I can do. Some day I want to go white rafting down the Colorado River.
Or when the weather is bad you can always find things to do in doors like crafts, hobbies my favorite is painting. I have painted landscapes and waterfalls, people tell me that the worse critic is myself. Well I still don't feel Ive mastered the great work of others.

The history on The Vacuum Cleaner

I was searching for Vacuums  on line.

Hardwood floors for me!

I was surprised to see the many websites and blogs relating to the Vacuum cleaner.
The history: In 1869 the sweeping machine was invented.  Did you know that some brands will not honor the warranty if used on certain types of carpet?

Wonder if they had a vacuum cleaner?

I recall the door to door salesman, mom bought one and it was cool
a rustic blue and had the attachments included.

I own 3 vacuums, a upright vacuum, hand held and the big old powerful Wet/Vac which will suck up any thing that you point it at.
When I adopted my cat, I didn't realize the cat hair found on companies back side when wearing dark clothing. Told me to keep the hand held close by. the cat hates the sound of any vacuum.

Daughters big day!

Saturday Aug 27th my daughter (Venessa) will be getting married, I am so excited at the same time relieved its going to be over.  The preparation and planning has really been a lot of work, with tons of stress.
Las Vegas, Nv

Her wedding gown is beautiful, which she found in Park City, Utah.  Her colors will be Black and Fuchsia, I finally found a dress I can wear Black w/a fuchsia wrap with black high heel pumps.  I hadn't worn heels in many years so Ive been practicing to not fall when walking. This is all taking place in Las Vegas, A 3 day event there. We live in Utah but she had to have it in Vegas. This is her day and she wants Vegas.
I am very proud she found someone who can take the place of a partner, a friend and a wonder father to her twin daughters (my grand girls) Kianna & Madilynn. They had blessed us with a grand son Feb 2010 Kerinan.
Their family is complete.

Hardwood floors vs Carpet

Beautiful area rugs set the overall tone of any room in your home with vibrant colors and textures.
Whether you're looking for a gorgeous Persian rug to make a grand statement in your formal living room or a durable outdoor area rug for your patio.
When we where in the market of buying a house, the 1st thing I would notice is the carpeting, wall color and of course can I make it different if needed too.
Will we found a house which was perfect in all ways, except for one thing. The living room carpet! it was mixture of blue shag.

Once we moved in, it didn't take long to make the changes, we replace it with hard wood flooring.
I have shopped around for area rugs, looking for a nice quality and inexpensive rug.  I found it at my work Overstock.com

Grandmothers

Friday went and pickup my twin granddaughters (age 5) they love grandmas house and grandma sure loves having them. I am a sucker when it comes to the word No to them.

My daughter: is a wonderful 28 yrs.old women, she had exceeded in her schooling & business collage.  A single mother while the twins where born. I was always there for support and helping out as I could, but I got to be near my sweet and beautiful grand daughters.

I have notice she can be a very strict mom and doesn't  budge a inch on letting them get away with anything.   I would feel bad for the girls, and wanted to wipe any tears that they cried.

Until my mother told me.  How I was strict too, and how she would protect them from me getting mad or angry with them,
they too loved there grandma dearly!  How ironic!

I then recall when my grandma told my mom when she was angry I painted a large pine cone in the bathroom sink blue, and at 8 yrs old I made a good mess of it.  Grandma knew I didn't mean to make a mess but mom sure was mad...

Grand Mothers are Wonderful aren't they!

Children

Wonder of Life
Children are the most wholesome part
of the race, the sweetest, for they are
the freshest from the hand of God,
Whimsical, ingenious, mischievous, they
fill the world with joy, and good humor.

We adults live a life of apprehension
as to what they will think of us; a life
of defense against their terrifying energy;
a life of hard work to live up to their
great expectations. We put them to bed
with a sense of relief - and greet them in
the morning with delight and anticipation.

We envy them the freshness of adventure
and the discovery of life.
In all these ways, children add to the
wonder of being alive. In all these ways,
they help to keep us young.

Herbert Hoover

I am blessed with 3 wonderful
grand kids
Twin 5 yr old girls & a 7mo boy

Wall Art

Vincent van Gogh 'Vase of Sunflowers' Unframed Canvas    Vincent van Gogh (1853-90) infused his art with a dramatic emotional and spiritual tension--seen in his "Starry Night," "Sunflowers" and "The Potato Eaters" paintings. Influenced by the Impressionists, the Dutch artist's later artwork displayed a vibrant color palette that intensified as his technique progressed. Whether your living room resembles an art gallery or your home décor is a little bare, you can always find space for the art of this great master. Overstock.com's wall art department features exquisite reproductions of Vincent van Gogh's finest artwork.Vincent van Gogh 'Starry Night' Framed Art

The world of beautiful art

I was searching on line for painting supplies and found myself wrapped up in viewing all sorts of artist's paintings. How the brush strokes they made such detail and beauty.  I have to say out of the hundreds of painting I viewed the best Ive seen is
Johnathan Harris portraits, the colors he brought out in landscaping is so brilliant work.
I love art especially paintings, I never study Paintings but I have studied Monet, Van Gogh, and the most recent work by Silvia Angeli I love the Mountain Memories lll.  I purchase it 2 yrs ago, along with Connections IV.
Wall Art can be expensive.  But if you love the it as much as I do you really don't mind paying the cost.
